Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Program

Montana Technological University is proud to participate in the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) program.  WUE is an agreement among 16 western US states and territories that drastically reduces out-of-state tuition costs.  WUE students at Montana Tech pay 150% of the in-state rate, saving approximately $50,000 over four years compared to out-of-state tuition!

If you are a resident of one of the following states or territories and meet Montana Tech’s 入学标准, you qualify for WUE status:  Alaska, 亚利桑那州, 加州, 科罗拉多州, 夏威夷, 爱达荷州, 内华达, 新墨西哥, 北达科他, 俄勒冈州, 南达科塔州, 犹他州, 华盛顿, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), 关岛, or the Republic of the Marshall Islands.

Not from a WUE state? 好消息! Many of our majors qualify for the Advantage status which is equal to the WUE in value. Simply apply for admission and we’ll notify you if you are eligible.
